From November 24 to 25, 2020, the 2020 China-ASEAN Hospital Management Cooperation Forum was held in Nanning. The theme of this forum is "Integration & Innovation • Improving the Access to Medical Services by Smart Healthcare". Over 300 guests and 60 lecturers, who gave presentation online, are medical management officials, medical institution managers, and nursing experts from mainland China, Laos, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Japan and other countries. 

At the opening ceremony, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University signed cooperative agreements with Microsoft (China), Mindray, China UnionPay, Guangxi Canhui Information Consulting Company, Naypyidaw General Hospital in Myanmar, Viet Duc University Hospital in Vietnam, and Mittaphab Hospital in Laos to build a cross-border medical cooperation platform jointly.
