The hospital is a core base for medical talent cultivation and training in Guangxi and for ASEAN countries, with a comprehensive system covering undergraduate, master’s, doctoral programs in clinical medicine and postgraduate medical education. It is one of the first National Clinical Teaching and Training Demonstration Centers, one of the first National Pilot Hospitals for Multidisciplinary Tumor Diagnosis and Treatment, a National Off-Campus Practical Teaching Base for Undergraduates, a National Clinical Practical Skills Examination Base for Medical Licensing, the first batch of Pilot Leading Training Bases for the National Health Commission’s Basic Surgical Skills Enhancement Program, and a Training Base of Wu Jieping Medical Foundation’s Simulation Medicine Department (Guangxi).

The center has a dedicated training building covering an area of12,100 square meters, with four functional areas: a resident trainingskills center, a clinical competency simulation teaching center, a nurs-ing skills center, and a medical simulation center with a wet lab. Utiliz-ing advanced simulators, animal surgery experiments, Al smart class-rooms, and a remote medical center, the center conducts online andoffline teaching to help students quickly enhance their clinical prac-tice skills and master advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques.
